Stan McNabb (5-3-1) handed Worth (7-2) its second loss of the season Monday at the Tullahoma Babe Ruth League field.

McNabb’s Jacob Honea (10 Ks) and Worth’s Will Green (9 Ks) both went the distance on the mound.

After Worth fought back from a 5-2 deficit to tie the game in the top of the fifth, McNabb struck back with the game-winning run in the bottom of the fifth in a game shortened by the two-hour time limit.

Chase Morris drove in two runs for McNabb while Matt Passarello, Cody Farr and Kyle Snell drove in one each. Will Green drove in three runs for Worth, and Kyle Hendrix had two hits. Isaac Eady added an RBI.

Chad Rusk did the hard work, going six innings on the mound for City, which won the game with a run in the bottom of the seventh after Jordan Milleville worked an inning of relief to pick up the win. Mason Hatfield and Tyler Branch shared mound duty for Coke.

Milleville had three hits, including a homer to lead the winning team’s offense. Steven Coffelt had a single and double and drove in a run while Ryan Rippy, Jacob Hill and Rusk also added an RBI.

Taylor Luckado and Justin Crago had two RBI each for Coke, and Gavin Elmore joined Ryan Durante in adding two hits each to the attack.
