Lady Cats 2nd in District Tournament
The Tullahoma Lady Wildcats battled their way to a second-place finish in the District 8-AAA tournament Saturday at East Middle School. They will take on Riverdale Monday at 7 p.m. in Murfreesboro in Region 4-AAA tournament action.

Junior Chelsea Jones pitched 20 innings Saturday as the Tullahoma Lady Wildcats defeated Coffee County 4-3 in the conclusion of a suspended game, defeated Columbia 8-1 in the first championship game then fell 3-2 to Columbia in nine innings in a second championship game.

..........Duke slides in safely to give the Lady Wildcats a 3-2 lead. They went on to win the contest 4-3 in eight innings.

Freshman Meghan Brayton drove in three runs in the Lady Cats' 8-1 win over Columbia in the first championship game, and she had an RBI double in game two, which Columbia won 3-2 in nine innings.
