Tullahoma Middle varsity team record: 8-1

First Inning: On offense, Tullahoma started off with another Jesse Haywood 4-pitch walk, then he stole second, but was left stranded.
Justin Crago started on the mound for Tullahoma, walking a player, but a Garrett Caldwell throw down caught the runner stealing 2nd. Crago struck out one, but a
Coffee County single followed by a double scored one run before a 8-4-5 (Ryan Rippy to Jordan Moore to Cody Farr) throw caught the runner trying to get to third.
Score 0 - 1

Second Inning: Tullahoma answered in the second with a Crago leadoff hit, followed by a Cody Farr single, and both scored courtesy of a two-out triple from Terrin Maupin. Maupin was
left stranded at third.
Crago gave up one hit, but settled down to follow with 3 straight strikeouts, two were strikes looking.
Score 2 - 1

Third Inning: Tullahoma scored again as Ryan Rippy got a walk, stole 2nd and then 3rd bases before Crago cranked home a 2 RBI home run over left field fence.
Crago pitched the third, giving up two singles, but a two-out, reach-on-error hit gave Coffee County a break, and they continued hitting with two timely singles
sandwiched around two doubles to plate 5 runs.
Score 4 - 6

Fourth Inning: Tullahoma had three quick strike-outs swinging trying to get on base.
Ryan Rippy took over pitching duties for Tullahoma, but the first batter he faced drove a line-drive into his pitching fore-arm. After some checkouts by the coaching staff,
he resumed pitching duties, forcing three ground-outs, allowing only the one runner who hit him to score.
Score 4 - 7

Fifth Inning: Tullahoma got a runner on with a walk (Haywood), but a fielder's choice, followed by a pick off of Austin Creasman stealing 2nd, followed by a strikeout ended the inning quickly.
Rippy resumed on the mound, giving up a single, but 4-3 and 5-3 ground-outs (Creasman-to-Gavin Elmore, Cody Farr-to-Elmore) and a strikeout ended the inning.
Score 4 - 7

Sixth Inning: A huge inning started off for Tullahoma, with 10 runs scored, and forced Coffee County to use three different pitchers to get out of the inning. A lead-off walk by
Gavin Elmore, singles by Crago, Farr (RBI) and then a timely 2-RBI, left-center single by L.C. Mitchell tied the game. With still no outs, Tullahoma continued having fun
with a walk by Terrin Maupin, single by Haywood (RBI), double from Creasman (3-RBI), single from Rippy (RBI), triple from Crago (RBI) and another walk from L.C. Mitchell
before Coffee County could end the hemorrhaging.
Rippy pitched his third inning, getting a ground-out dribbler to himself for a 1-3, then a single, fielder's choice hit, another single up the middle, and three reach-on-errors (E3, E6, E4)
allowed three runs to score. A fast-ball strikeout swinging ended the inning before Coffee County could plate any more runs.
Score 14 - 10

Seventh Inning: Terrin Maupin started off for Tullahoma, getting a walk, advancing courtesy of two wild pitches, before an errant pick-off of base runner Austin Creasman, allowed him to score.
Creasman was left stranded at 2nd.
Brad Roepke came in to close the game for Tullahoma, with a unassisted grounder to Elmore at first, a 6-3 (Crago-to-Elmore) grounder, then a strikeout swinging to end the game.
Score 15 - 10
