Terrin Maupin had 2 singles with 3 RBI;
Austin Creasman had 2 singles and a triple, with an RBI;

First inning: Defense: Justin Crago started for Tullahoma, downing the first three batters for Warren Co.
Offense: Kenton Culberton (reach-error) and later scored on a wild pitch; Jesse Haywood got on with a single before scoring on a Justin Crago single.

Second Inning: Defense: Crago fanned three but a passed-ball allowed a runner to reach first, before a ground-out ended the inning.
Offense: AJ Sharp got on base with a single, stole second base, advanced courtesy of a Sebastian Charboneau ball, then scored on a wild pitch.

Third Inning: Defense: Brad Roepke took the mound and got two quick squib hits, but an error and walk left two runners on base before getting out of the inning with a strikeout.
Offense: Tullahoma had 3 batters up, 3 batters downed by Warren County pitcher Justin Ware.

Fourth Inning: Defense: Roepke fanned two batters, but allowed a walk and sole hit of the game to advance two runners before another squib hit back to him ended the inning.
Offense: Austin Creasman had the first of his three hits, scoring courtesy of an AJ Sharp single and subsequent Warren County error. L.C. Mitchell
got on base with a hit-by-pitch, but was left stranded.

Fifth Inning: Defense: Terrin Maupin took the mound for Tullahoma, forcing three easy ground-outs by Warren County. Offense: Ryan Rippy got a hit, stole second and scored courtesy of a Terrin Maupin RBI hit. Maupin also scored courtesy of a Warren County error.

Sixth Inning: Defense: Maupin had a groundout, but a walk, and hit-batter put two runners on base, though he got out of the inning with a pop-up and strikeout-looking.
Offense: Tullahoma ended the game on a mercy rule after plating three runs from Haywood (single), Rippy (walk), Maupin (2 RBI single), and Creasman (RBI triple).

Tullahoma is now 2-0, and hosts Coffee County at 1 PM this Saturday (3/15) on Waggoner field, with North middle (Franklin Co.) coming to play Monday (3/17) at 5 PM.

Tullahoma JV 9, Warren County JV 1


The TMS JV baseball team chalked up another win Wednesday at home against Warren County with a final score of 9 - 1, running their record to 2 wins and 0 losses.

1st Inning: Jordan Sheffield started for Tullahoma. He struck out 2 and had another ground out. One Warren County batter did reach base safely on an infield error but could not advance beyond 2nd base. The bottom of the inning began with Zach Lampkin reaching base on an error, followed by a Trey Burks single. Sam Tomes walked to load the bases. Sheffield singled in Lampkin and Burks later scored on a wild pitch. After 2 outs were recorded, Alex Butaud singled in Tomes and Sheffield. Warren County finished up the inning without any more run damage with the score 4 - 0.

2nd Inning: Sheffield still pitching for Tullahoma, he retired the first two batters with a ground out and a strike out. After giving up a walk and a single, he struck out the Warren County batter for the third out. For Tullahoma, with one out, Burks walked and later stole 2nd. With two outs Sheffield drove a ball to right center for a triple that scored Burks. Two pitches later, Sheffield made it home on a wild pitch. With the bases empty Brandon Weddington singled and advanced on error. Scottie Maupin reached on an error, moving Weddington to third. Butaud singled scoring Weddington. Tullahoma loaded the bases but couldn't score again. Score after 2 innings Tullahoma 7 Warren County 0.

3rd Inning: Lampkin pitched for Tullahoma. After allowing the first batter to reach on a single, the next two batters went down swinging. The third out of the inning was a diving catch by Tomes running in from right field. For Tullahoma, with one out, Burks singled and stole 2nd again. He advanced to 3rd on an infield out and later scored on a pitch that got away from the catcher. Score after 3 innings Tullahoma 8 Warren County 0.

4th Inning: Lampkin still pitching for Tullahoma. Two strikeouts, a flyout to third, with two walks scattered inbetween ended the inning with runners on 1st and 2nd for Warren County. For Tullahoma, Weddington started the inning with a double, advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch, and later with two outs scored on a wild pitch. Tullahoma managed to load the bases again via an error, a walk, and a batter hit by a pitch but could not score. Score after 4 innings Tullahoma 9 Warren County 0

5th Inning: Justin Brown pitching for Tullahoma. With one out the batter hit a double down the first base line. After an infield groundout, the next batter walked to put runners at 1st and 3rd. The runner from 3rd scored, as the next batter reached safely on an error. The final batter grounded out to end the game. FINAL

The TMS JV baseball team's next game will be home against Coffee County, Saturday March 15.
