Donohue Finishes Sixth in State 300-meter Hurdle Event

  Tullahoma Wildcat Joseph Donohue finished sixth in the 300-meter hurdles at Friday’s state track and field meet in Murfreesboro, which gave him the highest finish of any THS athlete at the meet.
  
Donohue ran 41.22 in Thursday’s preliminary round, which qualified him for the finals. He ran 41.27 in the finals. Thomas Baker of McGavock won the event with a 39.32 time.
  
Ryan Coffee had an 11’06 pole vault in the state meet while teammate Jonathan Jones cleared 10’06. Cordova’s Robbey Rasmussen cleared 15’ to win the state championship.
  
Tristan Solies had a throw of 134’04 in the discus, good enough for a 10th-place finish. Isiah Williams of Ravenwood took top honors with a throw of 157’08.
