Short-handed Wildcats Suffer Crucial Loss at Lawrence County
by Mike McGee
LAWRENCEBURG---The Wildcats fell behind by 13 at the half thanks to a second-quarter scoring drought, then fought all the way back before losing by five. Coach Jeff Taylor's squad was without the services of three top players, Tryston Horton, Brandon Hall and Bobby Dowdell, who were serving the second game of a three-game suspension for disciplinary reasons. Friday's loss drops the Wildcats two games behind Lawrence County for the fourth spot in the regular-season standings, which includes a home game to open district tournament play.
