Gessler Earns National Ranking

Emily Gessler, a Tullahoma High School freshman, is one of two Tennessee girls nationally ranked by USA Wrestling Magazine for January 2008. The United States Girls Wrestling Association has her ranked fifth in the nation at the 133-pound division. She won the 2007 Tennessee USGWA State Championships, USA Tennessee High School State Championships, Halls High School Girls Invitational, and placed second in the USGWA National Championships held in Livonia, Michigan. Gessler will be competing in the upcoming 2008 Halls High School Girls Invitational, the 2008 USGWA Kentucky Open Championships, the 2008 USGWA Tennessee State Championships, which will be held at Tullahoma High School February 24, and the USGWA National Championships in March in Livonia, Michigan.
