Wildcat Wrestlers Lose Close One in Region 5 Duals Info and Photos by Hunter Norris [Photos] MURFREESBORO---The Tullahoma Wildcat wrestling team turned in a gutsy performance at the Region 5 Team Duals at Blackman High School in Murfressboro Thursday before ultimately losing by one point, 33-32, to Blackman. In order to get to the finals Tullahoma dominated Seigel High School 55-24 and Blackman bested Riverdale. Earlier in the year during the regular season Blackman handed Tullahoma its only Region 5 loss of the year. Thursday's match featured six lead changes, and the score was tied two times. Tullahoma actually won more individual matches-- 8-6--but had no pins on the evening whereas five of Blackman's six wins were via the pin. More team points are awarded for a pin. Tullahoma still can enter the Tennessee State Team Duals in Clarksville by winning an alternate contest Saturday against the second-place team from Region 7, Glencliff.
